My Dad decided to go after them last night, got his first ever kill with a crossbow. Custom Micro 340 I built him a couple years back. Tried a different program that does auto editing this time.

Thanks guys. I'll be the first to admit... We have it really easy with getting turkeys here. So many other hunters have to work way harder for theirs than we do.

While that may be true, it doesn't matter how many you have in your field, if you don't respect their eye sight, you'll never get a one. So many turkey hunters have a super difficult time sealing the deal.

I really enjoyed both videos! Congratulations to both of you. We used to have a lot of birds like that a few years ago. They have gotten much scarcer. I hunted last Monday and Tuesday and didn't have a gobbler close enough to work on either of those cold, windy mornings. There were three strutting gobblers in my crop field a couple of weeks ago (before the season opened) so I haven't given up. I'm going back Wednesday morning.

My brother was able to get out for the first time this past weekend, 2 hour drive from where my dad and I got ours, and his hunt only lasted an hour. Got probably the best footage of all 3 with this one too. 4 hours total hunting and 3 guys tagged out with their Excaliburs.

Your inspiring me to break out the micro this weekend..... :)
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.

Man I sure hope so. My oldest kid (7) got out for one sit this year, got cold, but hoping with some warmer weather she can get a few more sits and takes a liking to it.
