Sight in excitement

Friends PSE fang. Just had cracked limb replaced. We were resighting in. New limb and strings/ cables by local tech.
Cocked it, set it down on shooting table. Heard a pop, looked at each other. Like wth!!
Next thing a loud CRACK , and bow jumps off table. Landed upside down 2 ft away.
Creaked and popped for 5 min., till string released pressure.
He took it back to shop, tech is shipping back to factory. Fix it or replace it!

Il like why didn't tech test fire it after his repair job.
Guess shop didn't have a crossbow target. Poor excuse!!!. We were lucky no injuries

Man it's a good thing that it didn't come apart on the shot!
That could have ended in disaster!
The Parts Scattered Everywhere crossbows remind me of why I came to love my Excals.
Hope your buddy gets fixed up quick. It's almost time to hit the woods!
Take care

After that excitement is when you hand him your Excalibur to shoot and explain how easy it is to keep them up and running at home.
If an Excalibur does have a limb issue you can have it up and running again in less than a week .
This friend of yours will be lucky have his bow back in time for the opener.

Less than a beer if you have limbs in your bag.

Remember the tourtis and the hare ...slow n steady wins the race....that fang bow could be replaced by any old matrix or exo bow much more reliable.
I saw my brother's Barrett come unglued like that before.
Vixen 2, metal ibex,Phoenix, sapphire, matrix 330 ,matrix 355 ,vortex and baby grand piano y25 relayer.
Trigger tecs, leupold crossbones and nikon bolts.
Zombie slayers and mostly swat broadheads.
