This is the view from my new favorite spot!!

Well, it was bound to happened. Little Ugly and I were up in a tree stand minding our own business when a group of drunken, hell bent for leather Deer came in and threatened us!! You could see it in their eyes! They had been out partying all night and they were looking for trouble!! :wtf:
There was this one guy that had these things sticking out of his head like a pitchfork!! Let me tell you, I was afraid!!
Then about 40 yards away this "ringleader" starts blowing and giving marching orders!! All of a sudden, all I can hear is thundering hooves and this blowing sound.

I figured if I could silence the "ringleader" the others would sound retreat and Little Ugly and myself might escape with our virtue still intact!!
Just as luck would have it, their "Boss" stepped from behind the saloon doors, and I fired!! My assailant dropped like a bag of stones!! The 150grain VPA 3 blade that Little Ugly spit at her, had hit its mark precisely as intended. The 'ringleader never took a single step. The other varmints vanished as quickly as they had appeared. We made it out alive.

Can't say the same for my adversary!! :eusa-naughty:
Y'all be careful out there!!

There's nothing that gives me a bigger smile than to silence a blowing doe. Congrats on the fine eating and excellent arrow placement.
