Nice job Mr. Bill! I like your pack job too. Well thought out!! Congrats!

Looking at those pics of the buck on the cart reminded me of getting this year's archery buck back to the truck. It was much more difficult than when I was younger! Lol

Starting next season if I get one down and I'm solo hunting I will quarter it up where it falls. My days of pulling a whole deer on the cart back to the truck are over... :)
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.

This is the second deer I have used the cart for. It’s not as bad as it looks. The deer’s weight low in the cart so balance is fine. It pulls much better than you would think. I have bad arthritis in my back but the cart doesn’t bother it much at all. Now getting out of my bed or recliner is another story!!

Finding a low spot to back the truck into made loading the deer a piece of cake. No way could I lift it in. May have to buy a hitch hoist if I can’t find a low spot.
