Fletchings for Firebolts

Post by ko4nrbs »

I use factory Excalibur Firebolt arrows in my Exomax. Today I noticed four of them have wavy fletchings. They are four inches long. I will get them replaced but was wondering if a four inch fletching is the best choice? What do you guys use?

Blazers. You might be able to straighten them with a hairdryer.

I like to use the extreme helical that an Arizona EZ Fletch Bolt gives but I know that 1.5 degrees works. The bigger the broadhead, the more you want an extreme helical or more offset. If you want some Blazers, send me an email with your shipping info and I'll be happy to send you a good number of them free of charge. Blazers are really tough and give really good guidance. I've run a few arrows past the fletchings and they stay on as well as straighten with some heat from a hot water kettle or hot air gun.

Thank you for the offer!! I have access to Blazers already but do really appreciate your offer.

I straightened these out with a heat gun. After deer season is over I will replace them.
