OT - Costa Rica Fishing Trip

Grouse you are spot on! They are indeed Wahoo's.
I just couldn't place them. I knew they looked familiar but couldn't come up with a name!!
Thanks for ending the mystery!!

Our captain said they are Barracudas. Got me wondering so I looked up some Wahoo pictures and the tails and head are different than what we were catching. At the 1st of the fishing trip we caught 7 blackfin tuna (about 4-5 lb) and then used them as bait for the big ones. Was a great trip~!

My apologies to AJ. Someone from Missouri should not try to identify saltwater fish - especially from a photo. I can barely tell a spotted bass from a largemouth or a spawning male white crappie from a black crappie.

No apologies req'd I wouldn't of known what we were catching if it wasn't for our captain.
