Winter crappy time

Post by longbow joe »

I had a great hunting season l kinda saved it in the last 15 minutes but even without the buck l considered the season a success.
As l get older I simply appreciate the time in stand more than ever before.
Some Saturday nights I found myself wishing a deer would stay away just because l wanted to go home and get something to eat with my wife and not deal with a carcass. Lol.
Now is what l call crappy time where I just try to keep buisy till spring.
In Pennsylvania it's a toss up if we are lucky to get safe ice for fishing hopefully we'll see some ice.
I got fishing rod and reel maintenance to do
Looking forward to turkey season as usual just hoping February goes fast.
How come hunting season goes so fast?
