Redds for old Excalibur Equinox

I picked up an older Excalibur Equinox , the one with the Grey rail
I have replaced the string with a Boo custom string
Got a brand new Excalibur scope
And want to add a set of REDDS
I go to my local archery store pick up the Excalibur string shock sound suppression system #1966
The holes don’t align properly and the bolt won’t pick up the threads ?
Is there another Redd system I can order or use ?
Frustrating not being able to get this to fit
It says right on package it fits the Excalibur Equinox

Try running a tap into the riser threads to clean them up for positive thread engagement. Scrap that, there are no tap holes on the riser .

Second option is return your purchase . They way I see it is your new Boo string will improve dampening some on your Equinox, especially with an arrow a bit on the heavier side.

I added the S5's to my Vortex front end, same front end as your Equinox. The alignment wasn't perfect, but had no issues installing them. Like Norm says, try cleaning up the threads. They also mount from the bottom, IIRC.

Archer Ontario had to slightly ream out the riser REDDS position holes for positive fitment. Only took a few minutes .
