Leaving Grizzly Cocked

Post by WNYBILL »

Remember reading that you can safely leave your Grizzly cocked for a day or 2 and not hurt it. Is that true and how long can you leave it cocked? I want to leave it in my shooting house and it would be easier if I didn't have to un-cock it.

I wouldn't worry about it much. I've left my bow cocked for a couple days before will no noticeable ill effects.
Good luck out there.

If I'm hunting in the morning then come home for lunch I leave the bows cocked but at night I decock.
There's no reason you couldn't cock at night and put in the truck for a morning hunt.
