Well, I was off yesterday so I went to the woods.

Saw many and shot 0.

I did have one 1.5 yr doe within range and had the safety off, but that little button buck made me think twice so I passed on the shot. Saw 4 in the morning including 2 8's that came in before good shooting light, and 7 in the evening. Only the doe and button head came in range when I had enough light to shoot.
Saw 12 more on the ride home, 7 of which were across the street from our property.

Maybe next time.

Kdog : Sounds like a sweet spot ... thanks for the update ... for those of us that are not into the season yet , it gets the blood going .
