What is your bolt setup for an Exomag?

My father recently got a new Exomag. He will be hunting deer with it almost exclusively. I was wondering which bolts everyone was shooting? He currently shoots 2219's with 125gr Steelforce broadheads. I have some 2213's I was thinking of cutting down and trying with 100 gr Steelforce broadheads. Thanks for your input.

Jim,

2219's and 125 grain heads are a very heavy setup. A lot of guys would be comfortable hunting moose with this. The Exomag certainly has the power to push this adequately, but a lot more speed can be obtained with what you suggest.

I used to shoot 2213's and 100 grain heads off mine before I switched to carbons. They really smoke! I think you will be happy shooting 2213's and you will have a night and day difference in speed.

i use a XX75 2219 gamegetter with a 125 gr innerlock head. yeah i know its heavy but it flys well for me.

2213's 3 5" AAE vanes and Thunderhead 125 fixed blade broadhead, works well for me.

I use Gold Tip Laser lls 5" vanes 100 gr 4 bladed Slick Tricks - does the job for me.

Will try the 125 gr Slicks whe they come in the next day or so.

Ditto with Woody Williams, except 5" vanes on the Lazer II's...
