Just found out my chrony want work in my basement under florescent lights. Does anyone know how to rig up some cheap lights. Its a chronyF1.

I have the same chrony. Hang a light bulb of 60 watts or more directly above it. That's how I got mine to work. Use an alkaline battery or else you may get faulty results or none at all.

You need to use incandescent lighting rather than flourescent.
Pick-up a couple 40W Tube shaped bulbs (like the ones they use for aqariums).
I simply sliced them together and have a bulb over each sensor and operated by a single switch. Cost me a total of $6.00 CDN
