OKAY...I know a lot of you guys live in the
"Great White North", but us poor folks who live in the South don't get much snow. It's probably been 7-8 years since it last snowed. But...2 days ago, we got snow!!
This is the view out my back door.
Today was almost 50. Most has already left. But my grandkids loved it while it was here.
In this time of chaos and unrest, it's good to see "Mother Nature" when she dresses for the Winter Ball.

AJ, that's a beautiful way to look at it. I take the few snows we now get annually for granted. Nothing like the snow stuck to the trees, really is a bright sight indeed.

We were joking the a week or two before Christmas that the first snow fall is so beautiful, in the trees, coating the branches. 1 week later you wake up and yell out the window. " F*#@ OFF" !!

Chris you sound like you could be from East Texas!!
My son-in-law that only lives like 7 miles from me has been without electricity now for 4 days. Generators (mine) have kept his freezers running so all the deer meat and other stuff doesn't ruin. He's about ready to pull someone's head off!!
He called me yesterday..."Whatch ya doing?" My reply..."I'm sitting in a tree stand hunting hogs"
For some reason he hung up on me!!!

Had a buddy who has since passed away that lived in Boone, Iowa. I use to go up there every other year to bow hunt, and then the years in between, he'd come down here and hunt.
Seems like every year I was there it snowed!! It was pretty unique back then for a guy from Texas to hunt in the snow. I looked forward to the experience. Of course I was in my late 20's, early 30's at the time. Not in my 60's like now!!
Today I am sure I just might view that a little differently..
