Newbie question about Broadheads

Post by Sonworshiper » Mon Sep 17, 2018 7:54 pm

I have yet to purchase broadheads for my Axiom. Do I have to buy broadheads specifically made for / by Excalibur? Or can I use a different brand?

thanks in advance!

Good question but you should mention which arrows you plan on using. If you are using stock arrows use at least 125 grain heads. That's my two cents.
Good luck with the new bow!

arrow weight is critical to prevent damage or injury!!
are they stock quills?
are they custom executioners?
are they shelf arrows from walmart?
what weight inserts do they have?

to answer your question, yes you can use any brand you wish but as mentioned be sure you stay above the minimum weight for the arrows total weight(including broadhead)

I've had great luck the past few years using Truglo 4 Blade Expandables with my Scorpyd.

Haven't shot anything but a target with my Assassin, but expect it will be excellent as well.
