iPhone picture posting.....

There might be other ways to post a picture on here from a “smart phone” but here is how I do it.

1) Have a Photo Bucket account set up.

2) Have the Photo Bucket App loaded on your phone

3) Open the Photo Bucket App

4) Got to My Albums

5) Click on Upload Media

6) Choose either – Choose Existing or Use Camera. Choose Existing will take you to your Camera Roll where you can choose a picture to upload. Choosing Use Camera you can take a picture to upload. It will ask you if you want to Retake or Use. If you click on Use it will immediately upload to the Photo Bucket.

7) Once you have uploaded the picture that you want click back on My Albums

8 ) Click on the picture that you want to post.

9) When it comes up click on the little “I” on the bottom right side. That will give you the addresses of the pictures. For posting click on IMG. It will say “Copied IMG Code". Click OK. It is now ready to paste in the thread that you want to paste it in.

10) Close out Photo Bucket and open the site where you want to post the picture.. Choose the thread that you want to post the picture in. Click on Reply. Click inside the Reply box. When it opens up do a double click and “Paste” will open. Click on Paste and the picture url will paste in the box. You can then add whatever words that you want.

I am guessing this will work on any forum.

11) Then click on Post Reply and it is done.

So simple even Woody Williams can do it..

I change my avatar nearly every week :P

From GaryL:

How to do your AVATAR

#1 You need to upload a picture no larger then 200 X 200 to your favorite picture site, I myself like PhotoBucket. After you have it uploaded some where go there and high light the address/URL in properties and copy.

#2 Go to your profile, slide down to the bottom and you will see AVATAR

#3 If you have tried to do the AVATAR and all you are showing is nothing or a RED X in your AVATAR picture, go to the delete box, put a check mark in it and submit. Go back to the forum then go back into profile.

#4 Once back into profile slide back down to AVATAR

#5 You will see a area that states : Link to off-site Avatar:

#6 Paste your url/address in that box and click submit, this will upgrade your profile and AVATAR and should give you your picture in the left side of your post. Please Guy’s and Gal’s keep’em 200 pixels X 200 pixels, or smaller and the file size no more than 20 KB.

A.W. has that down dang good, however a little eaiser way is after your up-load go to your picture, under the picture you will see three box's, high light the last one (Third box down under your pic.) and right click which will high-light and then pick copy.

Ignore that last post by jannypan - it's spam and makes no sense in this thread.
