First Big Buck thanks to Excalibur and Little River Lodge

Post by redbeard_01 »

I've never plugged a company before but i wanted to let you know how happy I am with Excalibur. I hung up my compound and purchased my crossbow in 2009 and took a nice yearling buck opening day and also a nice Doe later that season. This year my friend invited me up to Little River Lodge near Loring Ontario and on day 4 of the week long hunt I got to harvest my first BIG buck (and a doe the same morning) I know lots of hunters would let this guy walk but there was no way i was letting him walk away. Just seeing a deer of this size where I hunt near London Ontario could be a once in a lifetime event. Here is the picture. Thanks Excalibur, my Phoenix performed perfectly even with the temperature being -23 that morning.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I use only 125gr G5 Montec Broadheads. I find they fly the best and LOVE the cut-on-contact style broadheads. He didn't go 20 yards. I've already booked myself in for next season.
