First Coyote!

Post by cdupont85 »

Shot a doe and she dropped making a couple bleats... Next thing I know I hear this thing running full tilt toward me. I got another bolt ready with a spitfre edge and he stopped at 25 yards... I slammed him.Image

first of all a big congrats on your deer and bonus coyote. a few years ago my brother shot a deer with a 30-06 rifle and it made the death moan. instantly a nice big coyote came running full tilt and grabbed the deer by the neck. needless to say that coyote is now dead and a full body mount that looks great with the teeth showing in a growling pose. good luck to everybody and be safe. our season opens monday at daybreak. Do you have plans for the kill? Take the hide? What else is/can be done with a coyote kill? At any rate, congrats again on a well-executed hunt.
