Which do you prefer on what bow (w/mag tip limbs) and why ?
1)Flemish Fast Flight
2)Excel String
3)Standard String
Strings
I have one exomax and one exocet 175.
On the beginning I was using fastflight, now I am using the excel strings on both bows.
Reason is that the excel is a bit easier to mantain the brace height. I don´t have to take off the string and put it again a several times to adjust the brace heigh.

I'm all for gun control. To me, gun control is putting 2 bullets in the same hole... UNCLE TED
PRB,
I make my own dacron strings in flemish twist or endless loop. I also have used fastflight flemish & Excel. Right now I've got a custom string by bj on the Phoenix (similar to Excel). I like the dacron for most of my shooting because it seems to be quieter and prabobly is less stressful on the limbs. For hunting I've used fastflight several times over the years and it gives a few extra fps, but I'm still not sure it's worth the extra noise and stress on the bow. I guess if I was limited to one type string, I'd probably pick an endless loop dacron.

Thanks for you all the information.
I have read that the Fast Flight Flemish has very little if no stretch to it (after break in) Ive also read that the Excel string will give equal fps as the FFF..
(Q) Does the Excel string have more forgiveness/stretch than the FFF ?
(Q) And does the standard (dacron) string have even more stretch than the Excel ?
(Q) If thats true then how many fps can be lost with the standard string (Dacron ?) vs the others ?
Sorry for all the questions but I'm looking for a string with more stretch than the FFF without sacrificing too many fps
Sorry Wabi because youve explained the different strings to me once before and the different materials used with them but I guess I dont have it listed under my documents info anymore
Please give me course: "Strings - Class 101" again.

PRB,
To simplify:
The two string types are flemish twist and endless loop.
You probably already know the two types, but flemish twist has loops formed by twisting the material back into the string to form loops and endless loop is made of one big loop of string material with the loops being served.
The two materials are fastflight and dacron.
There are many types (and brands) of material used for "fastflight" strings, but all are very low stretch compared to dacron.
Basically the Excal strings are fastflight flemish twist, Excellerant - a fastflight endless loop string, and the old "standard" string - a dacron endless loop.
Fastflight flemish strings stretch as the loops "settle in" then stretch very littlewith continued use.
Excellerant strings stretch very little at all.
Dacron endless loop strings stretch quite a bit at first, then settle in and remain fairly stable after a while.
As far as I know there are no dacron flemish twist strings offered for Excaliburs unless you know a custom stringmaker.
