gagnons sports

Post by huntin freak »

Well, still not looking good as to when Gagnons will re-open. Talking to a friend at work who knows Jerry Gagnon well, apparently the insurance company is holding out on them so they are unable to stock the shelves to allow for a proper opening. I will keep asking if any more info is available and maybe get the name of the insurance company so maybe we can lean on them for a while. They always want their money fast but paying out never seems to be as quick. I guess there is no money in the insurance business....

Sliver i guess you have not had to deal with an insurance company when they owed you money. They are worse then the government when you are trying to get money out of them that they owe to you.

I personally do hope they open soon. They are a GREAT store and have a very large supply of equipment with many different selections to choose from. About their prices, they have gone up some from their beginning on Albert St. When store get a larger overhead (more supplies and stock on hand) you can't keep bargon basement prices unless you have the buying power of Cabellas or Bass Pro. Gagnon's are not the most expensive place around. They are not the cheapest any more, but certainly not the most expensive either.

I know you have praised Williams in Port Perry which is a good store, but generally they have to order what it is that I want or need. And if I need it right now, I would be outta luck. Please open soon.

Tom I know I sounded harsh on Gagnons but that was not really my intention ,,sorry If I came across harshly  I have purchased lots of gear from them including my crossbow  and I will probably purchase a whole lot more... ..

I have delt with insurance companies that have owed me money ,, I know it's not fun.

I'm sure they will open soon and I will be in there spending money,, I'm pretty sure of that
