Hello everyone. I hope this post finds everyone in good health for the new year. Its really nice to see all the deer taken this year!
While reading posts I am getting interested in checking out the Phoenix. I currently own an Exocet with carved limbs. Apparently the two are the same in terms of pull. I assume the difference is in the stroke. It sounds like the Phoenix is an easier crossbow to use. Are they the same as far as performance goes? Is the Phoenix that much easier to cock? What other differences are there? I have no problems cocking the Exocet (I am 5'2") but I do not enjoy it and cocking it in close quarters or in a tree stand sucks. Maybe I am just looking for a new toy but on the other hand are there any excuses here to buy the Phoenix?
I think I have read most of the posts about various Excaliburs but if anyone has direct experiences with both bows I would like to hear their opinions.

Your Exocet with carved limbs is 165 lb and 15" draw, 2002 Exocet is 175lb with 15 1/2" draw and mag tips. The new Pheonix is 175 lb with a 14" draw with the new riser. that 1 1/2 " makes a lot of difference for the shorter archer.
Thats as good an excuse as any.
