x-bow nocks.
Excalibur recommend flat nocks for use in their bows.
I did buy half moon on some arrows,by mistake, and ended up filing them flat.

Lucky, in my understanding it al has to do with the triger of the bow. Some manfactur build a triger that holds the string from the bottom and others old the string from the top. Excalibur triggers hold down on the string which is why a flat nock is ok. The half-moon nocks are just to insure the string does not jump the arrow when the string is released from the triggers that grip from the bottom.
Hope this answers your question.
