Nice, congratulations Bill T.
I would like to know what crossbow/broadhead/arrow configuration did you used?
I'm all for gun control. To me, gun control is putting 2 bullets in the same hole... UNCLE TED

African hunt

Congrat's Bill.

I don't for a moment doubt how gruelling and hard that hunt must have been. Most of us see the video of the kill, and don't realize how hard you have to work for that shot.

Anyway, I bet you will have memories that will last a lifetime.

Glad you made it back safe and sound.

Vern.
Wishing all of you the wind at your back,
Good friends by your side,
and a lifetime of adventures ahead.

Hi
I used a stock Exomax with a double walled carbon arrow using extra weights and a brass insert. Front end was a Magnus 125 unvented 2 blade cut on contact head and steel adapter. Total mass weight was 900 grains, velocity around 255, hitting power about 125 foot lbs. They shot really great, the bow was quiet and actually recoiled on firing!
