Hey, im new....

Post by Allan.L »

My name is Allan and im from London, Ontaro, Canada. im 15, and am into crossbow hunting/target shooting. there is one downside, i have just sold my crossbow to a friend, and am in the market for another one.

im looking for a crossbow under $150, with at least a 100# draw. i know $150 is really cheap for a crossbow, however ive seen some going from 80-150 that are kind of neat.

here are some links.

would any of these be good for small game hunting out to 30-40 yards with a nice scope?

thanks alot

I would suggest saving your money and getting a crossbow you can hunt with for the rest of your life.

I'll second that. You don't want to be hunting with a cheap piece of junk and have it let you down when that monster buck steps out. That said, you also do not need to spend a fortune. Just get something reliable.

You have to listen to experience here. If you buy the right equipment, you will buy it ONCE.

Save your money now, and get a quality bow, or spend more money later.

you can find a bunch of decent xbows on ebay that are used and new.. probably some horton, barnetts, parkers, and etc which are 150-175pounds and probably in the 200-300 price range.. those would be better than the above

keep looking and you can find some good deals on GOOD XBOWS
