I am looking to replace my old Magellan GPS. Would like a color screen, and road/topo maps. The easier to use the better. I use my old unit for hunting / ice fishing / trail riding.
Let me know what units that you are using and what you like /dislike about them.
Thanks /Farmer

I use the Garmin Etrex Vista for work. I don't have the color version but the unit is very user friendly and has only failed me one time. (Heavy cloud and tree cover) I highly recommend the Garmin GPS units. They've got me sold.

I have a meridian platnium magellan and I love it..I always mark wher i park and then go into the woods for the day...One eve my flash light went out bulb busted..It was really a dark night cloudy and no stars..I hit the backtrack fuction and 30 min later I popped out of the woods and ran right into my truck..just follow the line and I was there...
youll love it when you get it..what ever you get they are great..
