I missed a mangy one a few yrs ago  It seems I take too long to decide should I or not? I will not hesitate next time. What is the suggestion for trotting yotes...lead or aim dead on? My last one I was following with bow and ended up hitting a tiny twig...searched 2 days and couldn't find my bolt. I know I missed as followed his footprints for 1/2 a concession (no blood)

deermans correct.....dont gut your deer where you hunt yotes will come and run off the deer... ....the deer will know it and avoid the area that a deer got killed in.....ofcourse Ive seen bucks come and sniff a gut pile too..so Things are always subject to change with whitetail......

Yotes kill full grown, healthy deer. I've seen it.

Bucklandman, if ya get him, let me know. I'm in your neck of the woods and ship fur. Get a few yotes each year, they'll pay for your deer gear!
