I think around 1250 was the count, trapped in Pa in one season by one guy.

You guys laugh but My father and i went hunting with a group arround our area about (20 some guys) and the one season they had shot about ... 65? and the picture they took of their barn lookd real similar to that, except only the front was covered.

What do they do with all those pelts? Just hang them on the barn like that?

Sell them!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can get good money for a fox or yote pelt. My wife and I have matching coyote coats that are beautiful!

Top picture is of Marty Sennecker from Canada. Nealy all were trapped and snared. Only a few were shot.

Fox picture is of Phil Brown from PA. All were trapped. I know both gentlemen.

I actually called and shot 110 coyotes and fox in one season myself. This was back in the fur boom of the late 70's and early 80's.

Today I usually shoot alot more each season, but clients and student do nearly all the shooting. I just call them in for them.

Fur should boom again this year . clothing designers are calling for fur for their winter designs.
