which bow

Post by hawg hunter »

Welcome: As far as exbows a Excal is the best, no matter which model. I speak for myself a Phoenix is very hard to beat. It has all the power that you could ever use and it is cheaper to purchase. the Vortex is a new design with a few problems, all of them seem to be very minor. Ican say from my experience that the best bow is the one you can practice with most, with the least amount of effort. An animal doesn't know if the bolt was shot at 330fps or 310fps only you. Wecome and happy hunting

I was making your choice 6 months ago, and I love my phoenix. I think it is the Remington 870 of crossbows, if you know what I mean... :D

went to the nearest dealer bass pro, the only excalibur bow they had was a phoenix, found exocet online for 419.00, 100.00 cheaper than bass pro website.
