Too Hot!!

Post by mike41 »

Went to the cabin Fri. for a weekend hunt, it was 89 when I got to my blind around 14:30. Sat 04:30 it was 74, came home around 12:00 today, just too darn hot. Didn't see a deer the whole weekend, this morning did have a Bobcat & kitten come right past my blind no further than 5 feet from the door, that was cool, 1st time I had seen a Bobcat in the wild, they aren't that plentiful around here.

After reading some of the other post on here, it appears that the temp is above average in a lot of places. Here's hoping that it cools down for those of us who are in the above average temp's.

Hunting in the heat isn't any fun. It makes a a big difference with just a few degrees and I'd prefer it to be too cold than to warm anyday. I'm camping and hunting a new public area this coming weekend and its scheduled to be cooler. Anything over 88 with little wind is too hot in my opinion.

It's going to get cooler in Ontario this week. Back to normal temps of 14 C (58F) and lows of 6C (40F) at night. Hope it drops far enough south to help you guys.

It's been over 80F in Ontario for over a week. Too hot to hunt up here as well.
If you're not part of the solution, you might be part of the problem.
