Time to say Thanks and eat some crow

Post by Chopper Charlie »

Happy and proud to say I just got my Vortex x-bow and all necessary equipment; i.e the "Right Stuff" package. Need to say thanks to all the great members of this forum for all their advice and help. Originally I was going for the Phoenix but went to the Vortex based on advice from members vis-a-vie my health problems.
Happy also to eat crow and advise everyone that Excalibur have stepped up to the plate and now include the 150 grain Boltcutter broadheads and 150 grain field tip points in their "Right Stuff" package. So, the Excal recommendation of at least 350 grain bolts has been acheived. Congrats to Excalibur for practising what they were preaching. Also, the dealer I was frustrated with came through with flying colours and saved me big bucks. Much more than I ever expected, and much, much more than any other quotes.
Finally, The Troubridges, by their own admission, were simple people who believed in a dream and worked hard to make that dream come true, and as a result, have come up with the best product on the market. As such, when Bill thinks a bolt should weigh so much, he goes out and does something about it. Proud to own an EXCALIBUR and proud to be a fellow Canadian to the Troubridges, and proud to be part of this great forum
Cheers to all who helped!!
Jumping to a conclusion is when a guy's parachute doesn't open and he complains about the pickup truck not being there??
