Picked up the new Excalibur Crossbow case
Picked one of these up on the weekend at Triggers and Bows. Very nice. Will post a picture later.

Here's the pics.
What I like about this new case is it has 2 outside pockets. 1 for your bolts and another for smaller items like the rope aid, rangefinder etc...

Is the padding fairly thick? How are the zipper[s]? Are the teeth large or very tiny? Is the case waterproof? Can the case be collapsed fairly easily into a smaller package? How is it for carrying?--------Whew I think that covers most of my questions.---Elf.
That is nice. Thanks for the pics. I'll look into a couple of those.
I thought Tye was the only one into pink Boo strings

Thanks for the comments guy's and girls. The case was $79.99. Enormous. we all know you are jealous of the pink string. lol.
Elf, a unstrung excal should fit in it. The zippers for the main conpartment have the large teeth and the zippers for the pockets are smaller. The padding is about 1/4 inch thick and I don't think it is waterproof. It could be collasped to about half the size. There is a shoulder strap on it and also a handle to carry it using one arm.
Hope this answers all your questions.[/quote]

new case
I just picked up the new case $55.00 +tax and the crossbow compusion video $20.00---at my local Excalibur dealer----case is very nice and looks like it will do a good job in my extended cab Chev. Now to find a small case of some kind to fit in the larger pocket to carry extra bolts, and extra broadheads will go in the smaller pocket.-----very pleased----Elf.
