Liquid rubber coating and spray for noise? (Updated w/Pics)
Has anyone ever tried coating the foot striup or arrow quiver holder with this to help reduce noise and vibration?

I know that some noise is going to be there no matter what because it's just the nature of the beast and we just have to accept that, but anything that can reduce vibration makes for a more enjoyable shoot and I think will add to accuracy simply because we also react to the string noise just as a deer would.
I would be interested in applying it to everything but the limbs, trigger, and string. No need for it on the trigger, and it wouldn't stay on the limbs or string, anyway, but it would reduce bolt speed. On the stock and rail it would eliminate or reduce sounds of something bumping, such as a branch or belt buckle, etc. I won't do much to reduce the sound of firing, though.

Wallyworld
WalMart has some similar stuff in the automotive section--put it on my stirrup & bolt spring ; it helped
i bought that stuff from home depot for the handles of some of my pliers to recoat what fell off and got lost and to coat some spring clamps that keep losing the rubber grips they come with....it's garbage, it goes on so thin that i wound up doing 5 coats and it still came out thin as paper and it still wore right through after using the spring clamp just once....a big thumbs down from me....but it might be good on a wooden handle of your garden tools...............bob
