I collect old beer cans from the 1930's-1960's. They don't have tabs to open them or they are cone tops. Here are a couple of pics of the over 2,000 that I have in my man cave. If anyone on this site has any or knows someone who does have some, please let me know. I'm always looking to add to this collection. I've been collecting them since 1975.

Would the actual cards be of value too Mike? How many would a "collection" consist of?Mike P wrote:I collect antique time clocks, the kind where you punch a time card. This is an old Cincinnati Time Clock. It still functions, keeps time well and even the card stamping mechanism works well.

The cards are not very valuable unless they are preprinted with a particular companies name.Pydpiper wrote:Would the actual cards be of value too Mike? How many would a "collection" consist of?
My collection consists of five antique time clocks and the hunt for them continues.
Here are some pictures of the antique clocks the Swede has in her collection.

And here is a picture of her jewelry box. It is five feet high. Guess what else she collects, lol.

Ya, they did! Actually, the Australians carried on with the Lee Enfield No.1 rifle with the Pattern 1907 bayonet right through WWII. The other Commonwealth countries switched to the No.4 rifle with the short spike bayonet just prior to WWII. Interesting story with the one I have. I was approached by someone who heard I collected bayonets. He said he got this one from his uncle who served in the Polish army in WWII. It was given to him by an Australian soldier as a souvenir. I would have figured it would have some sentimental significance with the family history attached to it but he said he just wanted to get rid of it so I bought it off him.I guess those Aussies meant business, huh?
"Bayonet, mate? That's not a bayonet ... THIS is a bayonet ..."
