New 3D Outdoor Archery course in the Kawarthas.

Post by Decoy Dan »

There is a new 3D outdoor archery course that has opened up just east of Lindsay off county rd. 17.
I haven't been there yet but I spoke to them today on the phone. They are only open 3 days a week so far but will be open more as it gets closer to archery season.
I think he said they have 25 stands to shoot from. Some are from tree stands and he told me that he changes the positioning and distances on every stand Once a week.
This is good news as our local archery lanes have closed up since the passing of Don Jackson which some of you may know of and who will be greatly missed.

I will let everyone know more about this new 3d course next weekend after I shoot my new Ibex that I purchased the other day. I don't think it's going to be much different then shhoting my 175# exocet except for the thumb hole.

I'll let my exocet do my talking.

Yep, the owner's name is David...great guy and an excellent taxidermist. I've done some shooting there and it's well worth a visit.

For a while Ive been thinking about Archery, the whole bow and arrow thing so I looked at some videos about it and it looks like fun, I thought I might want to try it, not professionaly tho like in championships and contest, just for the fun of it, but I wanna kno is it as fun as I think it is, can anyone help me out with this?
