STS Bumpers Splitting
Has anyone else had a problem with the rubber bumpers splitting after only a few shots?
I have the bumpers adjusted so they are just a hair away from the string. I had even used replacement EDS bumpers and these don't work.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

I've had the NGSS system on mine for over a month and shoot almost every day; no sign of wear. I have had mine a credit card length away and just touching as I was changing strings and made no difference.

I've got a handful of splits, I recently cut some leather circles out w/ a gasket punch and glued them on the face of the bumpers, but haven't had a chance to try them yet.
As easy as it is to mount, I just put mine on for hunting and leave it off for the rest of the time to stretch bumper life.
Waste not, want not, lol.

STS Stoppers
With a little help from marine goop I got over a thousand shots with my fir.st set of stoppers following Boo's advice about brace height, shortening
the rods, and rotating the stoppers every so often. I shoot a phoenix.
A vortex shooter I know got well over 1000 shots on his first pair of bumpers following the same advice.

I had same problems with STS. When I bought new ones it was a bother and
$6.00 each. One day at range a fellow shot Excalibur without STS and
it made same amount of noise as mine with.........soooooo I removed
STS . Now bow is lighter and makes noise and I don't have the rubber
stopper problem. By the way I tried several different brace heights but
still got splits in rubber.
I discovered most of noise comes from trigger....when you uncock the bow
see what I mean.
