excel part no. 1994 string is 1 inch to short 35 inch

Post by blackjack »

has anybody noticed that the strings you buy as excel string part no.1994 are nearly an inch shorter than what is in the box when you buy a new bow & having shot my equinox about 25 times it stiill sits on the top line with only one twist in it when l fitted it the standed string which came with my bow in the box would have settled after 2 or 3 shots will it not when cocked put more stress on the limbs. l also brought 5 strings & there all the same. thanks

its all good, put a twist in yer string put it on and shoot. it will stretch a little as time goes by. doesn't hurt anything fer it to be abit above the high brace line.

My Vortex was the same way after about sixty shots and rubbing it with wax to warm it up while on the bow it settled in at just about mid way between the brace lines
