BH's Blade thickness

Post by vixenmaster »

this only my personal opinion about BH blades. we all know that there will be more times than not our arrows don't hit the exact spot we aimed at. deer ribs are somewhat soft & pronghorns & such. the bigger game & hogs & so on are not. if ppl use thin flimsy made BH's with blades that bend if you look at them hard. you are really showing the game you hunt disrespect, like they're not worthy of well made heavy duty bladed BH's. thats one of my main reasons of not using any BH that has blades thickness less than .030 & prefer .035 or .040. thin blades BH's have a place small game turkeys and such

I agree, the heavy foot pounds of KE.....70"s for my Phoenix, really
dictate strong arrows and broadheads. Most fixed are .040 thick.
