A silver lining for Team Dryfire PICS ADDED

Post by xbowkidd »

I went out at 2:30 this afternoon for a beautiful evening sit, could not have asked for better weather (and wind). At about 4:30 i texted my buddy to tell him there was a doe headed his way, he shortly texted me back to say there was two 60 yards from his stand and one was headed my way (funny how that works). sure enough there within 10 minuets a nice size doe came through the pines 50 yards in front of me. She started to walk towards me but stopped abruptly for several minuets (thought for sure i was busted) i checked the range finder, 43 yards still a little further than i like but i brought my bow up and was thinking about taking the shot when she suddenly started coming in again. She came right in to 28 yards turned broadside and i took my shot(luckily being a member of team dry fire i remembered to load a bolt this time). We had a little trouble finding the blood trail in the beginning but we got onto it and it all worked out nicely. We took some nice pictures but i have to figure out this camera, I will try to post them in the morning. Good luck!
