There is no story for this huge deer. Just a little luck. Not that there was no work involved. I believe it took about 15 minutes at the ground blind and the deer walked in about 18yards. Double lung and dropped 60 to 70 yards away. This deer was taken bye my pal from Guelph and I am just the messenger. He is the one in the photo. He convinced me to buy the exomax.
If you want a story here's a story. Sunday morning I am standing in the dark looking up at my tree stand and I think to myself I didn't leave my sweater in the stand did I? So I climb up the stand and there asleep on my stand is a porcupine and he isn't leaving. So I climb back down and think to myself what am I going to do. So up I go and bang on the stand until he climbs higher into my spruce tree. So now I am sitting in my stand with a porcupine ten above me curled up in a crotch in the tree. So about a half hour goes bye and I think this is o.k hes not moving or making a sound. Then it gets light around seven and I am looking for movement when something lands in my hood to the jacket. You guessed it my new Buddie is getting rid of last nights dinner about ten feet above me. Down I scurry to the ground and said its coffee time. Chased off my tree bye a porcupine.
You know what they say.
The sun don't shine on the same dogs ass everyday.
