Have the gutting knife ready and fire the grill up............it will do just fine. All Excals are capable of taking any big game in North America, the deciding factors are the hunter's shooting skills and most importantly shoot placement.

Big game? Won't even have enough snot to take small game... Being the nice guy that I am I'll take it off your hands for 1/2 what it cost and I'll pay shipping to the US. :)

Take care...

Welcome to the Forum, will a Vixen take Game big or small thats no sweat at all. I have the older vixen & i don't think there is any Game in the World i couldn't take. Its all about the accuracy & weight of arrows & good well built BH's. I build my own heavy logs to use hunting & have the big cutting durable BH's that match up.

You have a CrossBow you will Love. Just start shooting it. I took my first Crossbow buck with my new Vixen II at 28 yards, this Year, Blu- thru Both Lungs and the top of the Heart. The Arrow was stuck in the ground 8 yards beyound impact spot. The deer took about four bounds and Dropped..... Welcome to Excalibur! and enjoy this great Forum..
