You should get more. Check the hooks for burrs or sharp edges. Polish with 400 grit paper. Check your nocks, sometimes they have sharp edges also. Polish them as well. Also check that you are not "over cocking" with the rope cocker and pulling up into the trigger housing. Some housings have sharp edges also. If so, polish those as well.

Much also has to said for just how tight the serving is applied. The tighter the better. Hope this helps.

You should be getting more. Are you applying wax every 25 shots?

Where is the serving breaking? Same spot every time?

A picture of the broken serving would help.
I'd rather wear out than rust out.

I have been waxing my servings religiously for four years. No trouble with my trigger.

I get an average of 300+ shots per serving on my Exomax.

I've never heard tell of trigger issues because of wax use.

I like to wax my serving, then rub it in briskly (with my fingers) so there's no globs of excess wax. Always done this every 25 shots (not an exact count by any means) and have never had any issue with wax buildup on the rail or the claws.
I'd wax the serving and see how it lasts.

I have a exocet 175 and servings have never made to 300 let alone 200.

But one thing I noticed was the two fingers that hold the string in the cocked position. One has a round inside edge and the other is more squared off( left side).
I have tried to polish this, ity never had any burs either.
I have called Excalibur and they said it was fine. Also checked some bows in the stores, some are that way some are both rounded.

What I do know it is always the left side that wares down first.

I now reserve my string myself so it is not a big deal.

Call or pm Peter and see what he thinks. You should be getting more shots than that.

I have actually gotten over 300 shots on a serving from my Equinox, simply by waxing the serving and turning the string. :D

I wax serving because the Excalibur video instructions instructed me to do just that. I believe those instructions are on this web site...check 'em out.
With waxing the serving will wear but it takes many shots. You can also turn the
whole string 180 degrees for more life.
