What is it about us Excalibur fans that we take an album of pictures of our bows. I do the same thing  Can't help it. I also have a framed picture of orange arrows on my spam counter. Mom and I had a few laughs over that one!

Nice bow Taxman!!

Taxman your gonna love it. I got mine last year and it is a beast. No deer with it(just a rabbit and grouse) yet but I can tell you for sure to steer clear of 3D targets. Pounds arrows in so far you may not get them out even with field tips on.

Yes I'll be accessorizing! First and foremost, a quiver and some bolts with field points. Going to need a new target too because my Block just barely stopped them! Broadheads later as hunting season approaches.

I'm going to take a look around at quivers....all seem to be offsets or over the top (Groundpounders) which I would think would add weight right at the front of the bow?

Other necessaries include:

A Stringer, cocking aid, a case for it (probably soft padded) and a scope as well.

Mike, get in touch with munch (Terry) via PM and see if he can set you up with one of his mounts. I have one on my Exomax and it's great. Canadian made and easy to get a hold of. I have family out Terry's way that I drop in to see often and Terry knows my wife's uncle, so if you want to make a deal with him, he could always drop it off to the family, I could pick the mount up for you and then you can pick it up from me.

I'll definitely be out that way on the 30th for a family reunion/photo for my wife's mother's side.

Congrats!!!!! soon you will be complaining about all the shafts your splitting....and how expensive it is to shoot at the same bullseye! LOL!!!!! you will love your EXCALIBUR!!!! but my advice start with at least a 5 dot target!!!!! shoot only one shaft in each bullseye[this saves you money to buy other neet things for your EXCALIBUR] like slings...groundpounder mount....lumizone....covers....lighted nocks...rangefinder...boo strings....stringer...extra string....the list goes on and on!!!!!!!

Thanks Secret,

Never achieved a robin hood with my compound, but knocked off a few nocks and sliced enough vanes to start shooting 5 spots only!
