scouting in 100 degrees

Post by Hoss »

man it was hot..i didnt really scout much other than putting up a couple trail cams. Ive got the cabin fever and had to go to the woods despite the temp....I was amazed to see a little basket rack 8 just walking around in the shadows at 2 oclock. nice little feller with a plump velvet head gear..he was skinny...anyways im anxiuos for the temp to drop and for season to come..

Yes, it is screaming hot and humid here to. Go in the woods now and the skitters would fight over you. Can not wait for a hard frost to kill off those little buggers so a person can be at peace hunting again.

If your going to scout I take the good with the bad, I'm in the woods at least 4 times a week, bug spray 40% deet, water and travel light, PEACEFUL :D

Same story here, last weekend we moved our trail cams because the water hole dried up and the deer went else where for water. We also put up three tree stands, the ticks and mosquitos were brutal and showed no mercy.
