My wife picked up a new hunting blind and the young man told her to make sure she give it a good wash before going hunting.can someone tell me what can I clean it with to get that new smell off it. So mr buck or miss doe don't smell her this season because I think I see some deer fever starting to show and I love it. To see a beginner tell me the count down is on and I hear this every time her hunting program come's on fellas I get goose bumps.Sorry i got off track but if anyone can give me a helping ideal.
thank you ivarner

Re: hunting blinds
I just set mine up outside and let them "air out" for a couple of days.
(usually right where I'm going to leave them for the season )
Not sure washing would help a waterproof product like a blind.

Re: hunting blinds
Dad puts a box of baking soda in a bucket and pours it on our blind before hunting season and then puts some more soda in the bag that the blind stays in. The powder is white and we use it a lot even on our cloths and our hair when it's hot outside and we swet a lot.

Thanks for passing it along to us.
(Even putting it in your hair, but in my case I'm not sure you would notice a change in color. )

Re: hunting blinds
Set it up outside and let it get a good rain cleansing. Make sure its dry before you take it down then keep it outdoors from then on til hunting season is over.
