I'm from Myrtle Beach. I shot these deer with in a half mile of the ocean in Pawleys Island SC. We are very lucky to have about 600 acres of swamp and salt marsh there to hunt. No corn or bean fields for 10 miles. Unfortunatly lots of hogs.Hurricane Hugo wiped them out but they made a full recovery.

I am not sure where your from but I got a mount done last year from a retired fella in Brampton Ontario for $375.00. It was a quick turn around time, I think it was like 4 months. If intrested let me know and i will try and find his number. Here is a pic of my mount he did.

Thanks, The head of the 8 pt is already at Wildlife Creations in Conway SC $400 He said I would have it by Christmas! I'm sure my wife is as excited as I am.(sure she is)

That's one heck of a good start with your excal,congradulations.We go to lakewood campground twice a year thats where you are.Seen a huge buck laying on the side of the road in Bennettsville last year. Happy hunting and welcome aboard.

2 Deer with one of them thumbhole stocked Excals. Durn i needs to getstid me one of them. Congrats on taking couple of fine deer

Yeah. I live in Longbay Estates between Myrtle Beach State Park and Pirateland campground on the oceanfront. We have it good. We are in the stand in Pawleys in 30 minutes. Most of my freinds have to drive at least an hour each way to hunt farm and timber land out to the West.
