installed new S5... and found that !!!!

Installed the S5 with my stock string on my Equinox that I have used for the last 2 years so it is well stretched. My string will only come within approx. 1/4" inch of the stoppers and thats with the string almost completely unwound. Inquired with Peter at Excalibur and he informs me that this larger spacing made no difference with their testing.

i am very thankful for finding this site and all you that have helped me !!!
here is a picture that i sent don to examine after 14 twists were made to get the string less that 1/16" off the bumpers.


i never thought that playing with these +bows would be more fun than rifles
i have always have great luck with them hunting, but never did tha mod thing to them before !!!
i kinda like it once i get tha hang of it... i'll do tha mod thing to the others
