I scored some mounts to hang on the wall.. PIC HEAVY

A friend of a friend came back from alaska for a few months trying to sell his house and all his what he calls ( boat anchors) so he can by some property in alaska and move up there to retire. He had all these mounts he had killed over the years from montana to arkansas. It was tough watching him go thru the parting emotions about these mounts. He said alot of memorys where here and he just didnt have a choice. I was looking for something to put on my wall in my bedroom and me and my wife had discussed an Elk or bear rug just a few weeks ago. He mentioned he had some mounts and a nice elk. I went over to check them out and I was WOW! I tried to stay calm so the price wouldnt go to high. At first I just wanted the elk and he asked me if i would be interested in a package deal. I really wasnt BUT, We shook hands on a price he set that made me fell sort of guilty, but he set it so I wasnt about to say a word. All I can say is Dang I dont think i could ever give up my trophys. He took it hard but Im very honored and proud to display them in his honor..1 Elk, 2 razorbacks from arkansas, and 3 mule deer. 1 whitetail

Nice looking mounts. I would be very sad if I had to give up such mounts! I think the pigs are laughing

i would be sad to ...to part from my mounts .but it nice to know there are still some people like you and your wife that will appreciate the mounts.

He must have have felt pretty low losing those mounts. There are some true trophy's there and I'm sure some great memories. Very Nice.

It's too bad he had to part with them but hopefully he will get some comfort knowing they are somewhere that they are trully valued and appreciated!!

Yes very nice trophys indeed. I could only hope to be in a situation some day to take a nice elk or mule deer like his.. I love the wildlife and Im lucky my wife does too. we have them all over the house as well as my trophys...Im honored to have them... With great humilty

The guy called me yesterday and would like to come over and see how I mounted them...I could tell he was very concerned kinda like a father over his children..I kinda got tickled that the guy was so attached to them. It makes me feel good about taking them all..
