First Day

Yesterday was first day of hunting season in Wisconsin . I was out for a couple of hours in the AM and could have taken a couple of small ones . Went back out at 4 pm and got busted as I walked to my permanent blind. I got in the blind and was getting everything set look up and a little one was standing 10 yards away watching me. She stayed in the area and was joined by another These two stayed around for about 3 hours About an hour and a half before quitting time a flock of turkeys came down the field and one ran into my arrow from my vortex at 20 yards and the first shot at anything but a target and result is Vortex 1 Tom turkey 0 I retrieved the tom it went all of 2 feet from where it was hit. went back to my stand and saw 9 more deer before quitting 15 min early.
