Rifle buck, MY BIGGEST EVER!!

OK so i have said that come rifle season i would be going rifle hunting, but i must say I wish I had been using my Excal Friday morning becasue this guy came right into about 25 yards chasing a doe.



He is 11points with a pretty good hooked drop tine.

I haven't scored it yet so if anyone has any idea where he might range let me know.

As I have said before, I don't go hunting for trophies but if one walks i i would take it, This guy is now at the taxidermist, something i had become resolved to the fact i would probably never get one worth spending the money for.

Darn nice buck even if you did use a rifle!

btw - if you'd have been using the crossbow the deer would have stayed 60 yards away - murphy's law or something like that always rules the game.

nice buck !! I know what you mean just something about using a bow thrills me more than my rifle kills.but a buck like that I would be thrilled to get with a rifle!!!
