Crossbows are legal. Not a lot of hogs around My area. The Tennessee Wildlife resources Agency has actually adopted a new regulation that "No more hog hunting on private land". I don't know the exacts on this other than it's listed in the hunting guide. A few Wildlife management Areas allow incidental taking on scheduled hunts. Catoosa WMA has always had a lot of hogs. Fort Campbell has a lot of hogs and good deer. It is a weekly drawing system at Fort Campbell but there are some really nice deer that come out of there. I have pasted the web site for your information that will tell you all there is to know about hunting in TN. You can also view the TWRA hunting guide while browsing around.
Good luck and hope this helps..... http://www.tn.gov/twra/publichunting.html
