Here's what I have and shoot.
1.)Excalibur Equinox (my favorite)
2.)Excalibur Paradox (haven't shot it yet)
3.) Horton Legend 175
4.)Horton Legend 150 special edition (target only)

And I want more...

Ran with the Ibex derf mentioned above last season, and it served me well taking both a buck and doe whitetail.

This year moved into an ExoMax. A tad heavier and a little more bow to move around in the bush, but Blistering Fast, and Very Accurate!

Here's the bow in "Battle Dress"

Image

After hearing many many recommendations, I decided to go with Custom Big John arrows built on the Gold Tip laser II blank. Works of Art IMHO!

Image

And from this bow, they fly Incredibly Accurate! This 60 yard "group" shows that painfully well:

I've been out with the bow quite a bit this fall, and passed on well over 75 shots thus far. Have my eye on a few Big Boy Blacktails, and a LOT of season left to get the job done. Also moose & mulie tags later in the season to look forward to...

Certainly Looking Forward to it's First Blood!!

Best of Luck to all those in Hot Pursuit!!

Cheers,
Nog

No real need to own more than one for hunting, they are like the Energizer bunny - they just keep going and going and going.
You can say that again! The only one I own is the same Exocet 165 that I purchased in 1995. I did replace the original carved tip limbs with some magtips that I got for a song, so that I could use a Boo string.

I suppose I could buy a new Excalibur, but the deer would never notice the difference!

1- All Camo Equinox (My main hunter)
2 - 2003 Deluxe Vixen that came with a flat riser that I switched out for a forward riser...I guess that makes it a Vixen 175??? Lol. (Eye candy/back up hunter)

Vixen is used by my apprentice.
Y25 is my show bow....only used in 'fair weather'

So I only have three... :-)
